Community
Building a Community at Settlers Paradise is one of our main priorities. We want you to have a good connection with your neighbors.We love it when new people move into Settlers Paradise so that our community group can welcome them. We offer a monthly community get-together, so new members of our community can meet with others. For parents of pre-school children we will offer a weekly playgroup session so that all members of the family, including the little ones, can meet and make new friends. A central focus for our community will be the Paradise Community Recreation Centre which will allow you and your friends and family to join various sporting clubs, group activities, playgroup, toy library, etc.
Sustainability
At Settlers Paradise we like our environment to be clean so for that reason we have a weekly rubbish, compost and recycling pick up. When you build your house we require that you have solar power including solar hot water, and that your house is 6 star energy efficiency rating. All blocks will have Bio-Cycle waste water systems which allow you to reuse your treated waste water to water your lawns or gardens. All homes will need to be fitted with a Last Man Out system to maximize your energy efficiency when you are not home. To ensure you we feel strongly about sustainability, all street lighting in the estate will be provided by solar panels and batteries so in the event of a blackout, there will still be lighting within the estate streets.
Infrastructure
Planning our community has been our first priority. We have made sure that all blocks will be supplied with electricity, gas and mains water services. To make it easier to travel between Gawler and the surrounding areas, the Gawler bus service will be extended to Settlers Paradise. For students of Settlers Paradise, we will be extending the bus services to the University of Adelaide Roseworthy Campus and surrounding schools in the Gawler area.
Schools and Education
If you are thinking about your child's education don't worry because we have a school in our estate and other schooling options located near us! At Settlers Paradise we will be building a new R-12 school - Paradise Community College. We hope that you choose to go to Paradise Community College for your child's education. The school will be kept as a small school so that it is a Country and community environment.Settlers Paradise is located near Roseworthy Primary School (public school),Gawler East Primary School (public school), Immanuel Lutheran School Gawler (private School), Xavier College (private school) and The University Of Adelaide, Roseworthy Campus.
Type of Community
If you have a growing family and you like the country feel you are looking at your new housing estate. At Settler paradise we have a family friendly environment which includes tons of playground for the little ones and a youth group for the older ones. We try to get families involved in our family nights that we hold every mouth at our community hall. Every month you get send a free hire of our bikes and scooters so you can rid or scoot around on out bike track through our lovely serene . We also include accommodation for uni student that go to The University Of Adelaide Roseworthy Campus.

Here at Settlers Paradise we are located near the Gawler Hospital, Womens And Childrens Hospital and The Royal Adelaide Hospital.
